Security and Data Protection

Security is part of the build

Business systems hold customer records, financial figures and operational secrets. We treat protecting them as part of the design, not an extra added at the end. This page describes the practices we apply when we build and maintain software. Every project has its own risks, so specific measures are agreed with you during discovery.

Who can see and do what

  • Role-based access. Each user receives only the permissions their job needs. Sales staff do not see payroll; branch managers see their own branch.
  • Strong sign-in options. Passwords are stored in hashed form, repeated failed attempts are limited, and additional verification such as email or app codes can be added for sensitive roles.
  • Audit trails. Important actions, such as changes to prices, approvals and deletions, are recorded with who did them and when.

Protecting data in the application

  • All input is validated and queries are parameterised to guard against injection attacks.
  • Forms are protected against cross-site request forgery, and output is escaped to prevent script injection.
  • File uploads are checked for type and size and stored outside executable paths.
  • Pages are served over HTTPS with modern security headers.

Hosting, backups and recovery

We configure regular backups, keep copies away from the live server and test that they can be restored. Software components are kept up to date, and the system is monitored for errors and unusual activity. For critical systems we plan recovery steps with you in advance, so a failure is an inconvenience, not a crisis.

Handling your information

We collect only what a project needs, use it only for that project and restrict access to the people working on it. Sensitive credentials are kept out of source code and stored securely. When you contact us through this website, we use your details only to respond to your enquiry. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Your responsibilities and ours

Good security is shared. We build and maintain the system carefully; you decide who receives accounts, keep passwords private and tell us promptly when staff leave. Regulatory requirements depend on your industry and emirate, so we confirm them with you and your advisors and design access and retention accordingly.
