How We Work
A clear process, in plain language
Software projects go wrong when expectations are vague. Our process exists to make the work visible: you always know what stage we are at, what we need from you and what happens next.
1. Discovery
We learn how your business runs: the people, the documents, the approvals, the reports and the tools you use now. We map the current workflow, find where time and accuracy are lost, and agree what the new system must do first. The output is a written scope, a list of modules and a plan for delivering them in stages.
2. Design
We design the data structure, the user roles and the screens, and show you mock-ups before development starts. Changing a drawing costs very little; changing finished software costs a great deal, so we review the design with the people who will use it.
3. Build in stages
We develop in short cycles and deliver working software you can test. Early versions focus on the parts that matter most, so the business benefits sooner and feedback guides the rest. We test each release before it reaches you.
4. Launch and training
We migrate your existing data, set up hosting and backups, train each role on the screens they will use, and support the first weeks after go-live closely. Where useful, old and new processes run side by side for a short period.
5. Support and improvement
After launch we fix issues, answer questions, monitor the system and add features as the business changes. A system is only valuable while it keeps matching the way you work.
Ways to engage us
- Fixed-scope project. Best when the requirements are clear. We agree the scope, stages and deliverables in writing, then build against them.
- Ready-made system with customisation. When one of our existing solutions fits, we customise and deploy it, which shortens delivery and reduces risk.
- Dedicated team. For larger or evolving products, a team that works with you over time and adapts priorities as you learn.
- Support and maintenance. Ongoing care for systems we built, or for systems you already run, including updates, monitoring and small enhancements.
- Google advertising management. Planning, launch and optimisation of Google Ads with tracking tied to your enquiries. See our Google advertising service.
Pricing
We do not publish price lists because every business has different needs. After the first conversation we give a written proposal that explains what is included, how it will be delivered and how it is charged, so there are no surprises.
